A BIT OF BURBERRY

Hey hey! Summer is coming and there's nothing more unattractive than all your makeup looking cakey and melting, so let's get right into two of my favourite products that I got recently :)

The first would be the Burberry Velvet Foundation. Right off the bat, I love this foundation. A small amount is all that's needed (half a pump is all I need for my entire face), it's definitely medium to full coverage and it dries matt so I usually don't need to powder over it. Also, even though it's a full coverage foundation, I don't feel "cakey" after applying it because you need so little of it. It's also got a pretty good colour range to suit people with yellow or pink undertones, so I got it in 201, which matches my skin perfectly. The packaging is what really got me though. It's gorgeous and is pretty lightweight because it's not made from glass. The best part about it, though, is that you can twist the pump to lock it, so it's even more travel friendly. Obviously it's not a cheap foundation, but for the amount you get and the amount that you need for each application, I have no doubts that it's worth it and I would buy it again after I'm through with this first bottle.

Also from Burberry, I got one of the Burberry Sheer Eyeshadows in 04 Gold Trench. I have used it every single day since I bought it and I love it. It's a warm golden colour with very slight shimmers in it, but the shimmers aren't noticeable once it's applied. I find it to be extremely long lasting and definitely build-able, which was a nice surprise considering it's a sheer eyeshadow. Again, as with most Burberry products, it's packaged beautifully, but the only bad thing about the packaging of their eyeshadows is that fingerprints show up like crazy. I got this eyeshadow for AUD$45, which is pretty expensive for an eyeshadow, but I do use it every day and it's a very decent size. I'm sure, however, that it would be pretty easy to find a similar colour for much cheaper.

That's all I got today; going to go to sleep for an early start for work tomorrow, so see you in my next post :)
