After hearing so many people rave about it, I finally decided to add the Clarisonic to my skincare routine. I got the Clarisonic Mia (the simplest one with only one button) in white and so far so good. I got a little worried after hearing Shannon from shaaanxo say that the brush head wasn't as soft as she expected and she had to buy a softer brush head, but when I first tried mine I didn't feel like the bristles were too harsh at all (the one that came with my Clarisonic was the "delicate" brush head, and because I got it from David Jones in Australia, I got a free "deep pore cleansing" brush head and makeup bag with my purchase, so I didn't even need to buy a separate brush head). I use it every night (usually with my Purity cleanser, which I talk about here) and after each time it does feel like my skin is thoroughly cleaned but it doesn't feel tight or stripped. I do notice that it's slowly reducing the redness in my skin, but I haven't used it long enough to have an opinion on fading scars yet. It is quite expensive and not extremely necessary if you already have a solid skincare routine, but I do recommend it if you have minor problems with your skin (I'm no dermatologist so I can't really speak for severe skin problems, though) and just for reference I have normal to dry skin.
