BOTTOMS UP! • STYLING MY 3 FAVOURITE PANTS

Hey, girl, hey! Often when I find an item that I love, I tend to wear it ridiculous amounts - more than is probably socially acceptable, but who's keeping track, right? Over the years, I've found that I particularly like to have the bottom half of my outfit as the focal point, and thus have collected more and more statement bottoms and basic tops.

In this video I chose my (current) 3 favourite pants and styled them in the outfits that I've worn most often recently. As I'm getting more comfortable with filming videos, these three outfits are a far better indication of my everyday style compared to my previous "One Shirt, Three Ways" video.

Outfit #1
These pants feel as though they were made for me. Since I'm only 153cm (~5ft), it's slightly harder to find pants that fit me well, but these jeans fit me like a glove AND have a trippy interpretation of the lunar zodiac animals printed all over it - they may as well have printed FOR VANESSA on them.

Sweater from Sportsgirl
Pyramid necklace from Amelia & Stone (same necklace worn throughout the video)
Black booties from Zara
Revlon Lip Butter in "Red Velvet" (same lipstick worn throughout the video)

Outfit #2
These high-waisted tartan pants are the perfect way for me to jump on the plaid bandwagon without compromising my bottom half as the focal point. Since this print is mostly seen on button-down shirts, I thought having it in pant form is a great way to stand out and incorporate this trend into my own style.

Denim jacket from Glassons
Cropped top from Factorie
Black booties from Zara
Revlon Lip Butter in "Red Velvet" (same lipstick worn throughout the video)
Pyramid necklace from Amelia & Stone (same necklace worn throughout the video)

Outfit #3
This is my favourite of the three because of how basic the outfit is, the statement being made by the cutouts down the leg of the pant. I've worn the hell out of these pants because it's such a creative way to flash some skin without being too exposed - an underrated, subtle sexy.

Cutout pants from Tobi
Tank top from Cotton On
Revlon Lip Butter in "Red Velvet" (same lipstick worn throughout the video)
Pyramid necklace from Amelia & Stone (same necklace worn throughout the video)
