Hey, it's MAY! I'm doing this post early this month because I got too excited about these products to wait until the very end of May, so here I am sharing them with you today. Also, in my state of super excitement, I seem to have repeated "I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS" an annoying 8 times, so my apologies...but hey, this is a favourites video, so I'll be damned if I don't "absolutely love" everything I talk about here.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick (2.25 Cool Sand)
To say that this product took me by surprise is an understatement. This product is the taker of my cream foundation virginity, a step I was willing to take after hearing GossMakeupArtist crown this as one of the only foundations that actually looks like skin, and let me tell you, he was not lying. I've always thought of cream foundations as being a thick and cake form of makeup, but I have never been more wrong, as pointed out to me by my skin after using this for the first time.

I swipe directly onto my face from the tube and my Sigma F80 brush follows to buff it out to perfection, leaving a very natural, pore minimising finish while also being quite high coverage that lasts all day. In terms of packaging, the small, sleek tube is travel friendly and very compact. The only downfall is the price (~AUD$65), which is about the same as the Nars Sheer Glow, however it still remains on the lower end of the wallet spectrum, considering it is one of the luxury cosmetic brands, and Giorgio Armani foundations retail at a wallet-exploding ~AUD$90.

Sigma Flat Top Kabuki Brush - F80
I've had this for a while, but never truly appreciated its abilities until I finally used it across all forms of foundation and it hasn't failed me a single time. This little trooper delivers through cream, liquid, powder and mineral foundations without fail and after having used it for over a year, is still in beautiful condition like I bought it yesterday. If you were only to buy one foundation brush forever, it should be this one. Go. You won't regret it.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner
This eyeliner is another confusing product to me - it is not a waterproof eyeliner and comes off easily with water, but why does it still stay on perfectly all day? Even after I have worn this for over 10 hours, then fallen asleep with this eyeliner on, I woke up looking like I JUST drew it on. Not only that, but this is very affordable from the drugstore and has a very thin and easily manageable tip, which is important if you like to wing your eyeliner sharply like me. This is amazing. Although this may not work as well for those of you with intensely oily eyelids, for those of you who don't, I recommend this to the moon and back.

L'Oréal False Lash Wings Waterproof Mascara
This mascara was an impulse buy as I walked past the cosmetics rack in the drugstore and thought, hmm, what if there was a mascara that makes my lashes look great but doesn't transfer to my under eyes in, say, FIVE FREAKIN' MINUTES?? Then I saw this one and thought I'd give it a try, and sure enough, this is even sturdier than the liquid eyeliner I just mentioned. This mascara lengthens, thickens, stays all day and holds my curl forever. Rewinding back to the story I just told about falling asleep with my eyeliner on: I was also wearing this mascara, and both of them looked flawless when I woke up.

The only complaint I have about this mascara is that the wand is a little too big, which makes it hard to coat my bottom lashes and I often have to switch to a different mascara for my lower lashes - AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!

O.P.I. Drip Dry Lacquer Drying Drops
I hate waiting for my nails to dry. Sometimes, I think they're completely dry, then I get into bed and realise too late that they're not. So when I came across this product, which claims to make nails touch dry in 60 seconds and completely dry in 5 minutes, I was sceptical to say the least, but it really does speed up the drying process a lot. Although I don't think that my nails are completely dry within 5 minutes, it does still take only a fraction of the time to dry compared to without the use of this product.

My Beauty Addiction Lip Paint ("Breathless")
When I found out that the product I had originally been lusting for (Illamasqua's lipstick in "Disciple") had been discontinued, I immediately went hunting for an alternative and happened upon this gorgeously opaque, metallic navy blue lipstick on Etsy. The colour payoff is very intense, but it won't settle into lip lines or accentuate dryness and it won't stain your lips upon removal, which is fantastic. It doesn't last as long as Illamasqua's lipsticks, but if you're looking for a navy lipstick, this one is the way to go!

Dailylook Velvet Lace-up Heels (size 5)
When I'm considering a pair of shoes, I consider mainly two things: comfort and a unique aesthetic. This pair of shoes has both of these things plus versatility (I've worn them casually, to clubbing and to events) and a price that is too good to be true. From memory, these were only ~AUD40 and I don't remember the last time I was so comfortable in pointed heels, nor liked a pair of shoes so much to find that they actually came in my size. These are a godsend.
