3 MONOCHROME OUTFITS

Hey, y'all! I've recently noticed a significant lack of colour in my closet and monochrome schemes trending across runways and streets alike. Black and white are the two most versatile colours (or tones, for those of you who want to get technical), at least in fashion, so I've put together three simple monochrome looks to show you.

As always, here are the details of each outfit in case you missed them in the video!

Outfit #1 - Dark Matter
When in doubt, wear black! It seems that when it comes to all black, people either love it or hate it - personally, I love it. It presents the perfect opportunity to mix textures, tends to have the most slimming effect compared to other colours and is appropriate for almost any occasion. Not to mention, for those who are more "fun sized" like myself, disco pants and black heels are the ultimate combo to achieving legs for days.

Boots from Boohoo

Outfit #2 - Yin & Yang
Jumpsuits are perfect for those of us who are in a rush to get dressed or just too lazy to think about that day's outfit. Slipping into a one piece takes a total of three seconds and takes care of both the top and bottom halves of your outfit. Jumpsuits are understated, sexy and comfortable - characteristics that are worth the toilet struggle, if you ask me.

Necklace from Amelia & Stone

Outfit #3 - Blazed Over
Blazers are such a versatile piece, particularly oversized blazers - they can be dressed up for work, interviews or other business attire or dressed down for casual everyday wear. I dressed it down with a plain singlet and loose fitting pleather shorts.
